Ive decided to stick two fingers up to the Fiat warranty and lower my car, only i dont know whether to lower it by 50mm or 35mm.

Anyone got any pics of a mk2/ mk2b on 15s (keeping the original wheels) which has been lowered?

If i lower it 50mm, will i have any problems?

ull have a major problem if ur gearbox smacks a bump and no warranty, but if its an arnold clark warranty id wait a few month before u make the warranty void just incase

I doubt hitting the gearbox would be covered on the warrenty anyway. Not a mechanical failure or anything.

most mk2 owners seem to think 35's sufficient with 17's so i'd play it safe and go for that.
could always go on http://www.puntomk2.co.uk and ask there

the only thing im worried about is the front of the car sits a lot higher than the back as standard, and i thought that at 35mm, the back would b fine and the front would still sit a bit high if u know what i mean. i dont want it to be too low, because i am away to get a back box and dont want it to scrape. (custom twin round poking under the bumper so it will be quite low down)

Its a fiat Warranty, as the cars only a couple of months old. I thought it would invalidate the whole warranty, but the guy at AC says just the suspension (not steering brakes or corrosion warranties), so im away to get that in writing before i do anything
