Ayrshire Cruise Part 2 Sat 1st OCtober 2005

Incase any of you are intrested in attending a major cruise here are the details. I know its quite far to travel for a lot of people but it is on a saturday so hopefully no need to get up early on sunday. and even a small convoy from Fiat Scotland going to such a big even may increase the site numbers and let a lot more people know about Fiat scotland. Anyways if your intrested details are....

spoken to the editor of redline magazine today and he has confirmed they will have someone there to cover the cruise on the saturday night, so make your your car is spick and span and smile for the camera!!

just off the A77, around 20mins drive from Glasgow city centre.

As you will see REDLINE MAGAZINE are attedong. From what i've heard they gonna be taking general pics of the cruise for the mag and also looking for cars that really stand out to be feature cars in the near future. The list of people going from various sites is huge already. I'll post it up for you.

As you will see a lot of sites have had people go in and just put their name and a convoy from whereever. On the sites I've been on there have been some big convoys planned. Anyway thats the info if your intrested then hope its of use to you.

Oh...and that list above doesn't include myself or the other two Cruise-Ayrshire administrators!

There is also a convoy coming down from Strathy, coming up from Dumfries, and I'm sure theres even more from elsewhere!

The car park holds over 300 cars, and was FULL at the last cruise we had, people couldn't get parked. This is sure to be busier...so get there well before 8pm if you want to be parked with your mates!

The point of the list on the site is to see just who from the site is going, and gives us an indication of how many from other sites are going to attend.

We have over 800 members (feels strange saying that, we had over 1700 until Monday night when we had a wee prune ;) ), so its always nice to know who is going to turn up!

As for why it was posted on here...no idea, other than to give an indication of the number of other sites that are attending our cruise!

Exactly didnt think that would have to be explained. Obviously if peope get am indication on how big the event is going to be then they may be ionclined to come. It is there for information as said earlier..

Point taken mate however look at it from the other side of the coin..

Dave and I (and probably most folk here) dont know half the folk on that list. If it were names of people from F-S then fine, great. We'd know who your on about, but, and this is without trying to sound funny, you'd be as well telling me Shuggie fae Govan is going - cos he's as well known to most of us as the people in the list!

Hopefully it'll be a good night though! 8)
