Fiat Code...?

So took out my kenwood player, cause im selling the mk1.

Anyway, stuck in the old fiat tape player, and now its asking for a code...which i dont have unless its on the player its self?

Anyone got a code? Cheers.

every one has a different code. did you not get a code with it when you got the car?

It was my parents mk1 before i had it...and i dont think they got a code.

Anywhere it would be? In the handbook etc?

should be with the handbok and that, otherwise go to Fiat and ask them to unlock it for you. (Although, there are some places other than fiat that will do it for you as well)

It might be on a sticker on the actual HU itself. Pull it out and check it...I'm sure mine had the code on it before I chucked it.

Really??? I was always under the impression that if the head unit got nicked, the code was there to stop it being used in another car?

Whats the point then having a code if its easy for a theif to get?

It isnt anywhere on the unit, and i phoned fiat and they want like 17 quid to unlock it, pretty pointless in getting it unlocked really...unless i can get it done for free.

Mine was written on a sticker that was on the unit when i had my mk1.
